| SJP Senior Model BFF Sessions |

One of the most fun things we do with our senior model team is host their favorite people in the studio each May for BFF sessions! Some seniors bring along one friend and others bring along the whole gang and we love these!

Of course, we photograph the whole group (no matter the size) together but we also shoot to show off each individual relationship and also give everyone their very own minute in the spotlight for a solo photo shoot.

Today I get to share the class of 2019 soon-to-be graduates of Warrensburg-Latham High School. I get to work with each of these students once a year to create their senior yearbook portrait. It’s really a fun day for me to work with them to get a portrait they love to commemorate their final year of high school.

I’m excited today to share a throwback to this beautiful class of 2017 Mt. Zion high school senior, McKaela! Her studio/Allerton combo was one of my favorites. I simply love creating sports images in studio (as I talked about in Jarius’ post recently). Not only do I love the way your uniform colors will pop on our rich black background but I often pair this with our mirrored floor to create a unique reflection look like the one below. McKaela did that pose so well (you have to really become ONE with that floor to get close enough for a good reflection!).

Her album design became one of my absolute favorites too. While I don’t use a TON of text in our designs sometimes just a bit can really elevate a design and I had fun with a new style of text in hers to give more of a ticker tape feel that was super fun.

As we round out the last 90 degree days (it is September right?!?!) here’s a peek back at the spring colors/flowers that will be here before we know it. I’m excited to share a few recent images of Chris Bradley who is a local lawyer and musican I’ve been working with for a couple years to create promo images for. This year we not only created the new promo images for his posters and website but also a headshot for him to use in his law practice. It’s always great to collaborate with Chris as he’s always got a plan/vision in mind for what we want to create and then I get to put my spin on things and add in my pose/positioning thoughts to really make it a duel collaboration.
