I’m excited to share with you our latest session with the Brackett family. I’ve had the pleasure to work with Michelle and her lovely family a few times over the years and it’s always so much fun. We had beautiful fall colors at Fairview for our fall Limited Edition sessions and everyone looked adorable!

| Darcy | Warrensburg-Latham High School Senior 2018 |

Check out Darcy’s senior session! Don’t you just love her hair, the braids were such a fun touch. Darcy’s a senior at Warrensburg-Latham high school and we’re just a couple months away from the big graduation day for all you class of 2018 seniors.

Darcy, like a lot of our seniors, chose to mix it up with her session locations to get a bit of that great urban grunge texture along with the beautiful wild natural look of our conservation areas. And I just loved her style. It’s so eclectic we went from ripped jeans and leather jacket to school house prep to soft natural dresses to a bold pop of red at the end!

We finished up the session working in one of her favorite things, her book collection (I don’t think we event got all of them out for these image!).

Today we have an awesome little guy to share with you on the blog today, I know him since he was the smallest baby and he has to use this small car seat from Babyzoom.net. I’ve loved watching him grow up over the last 2 years and he’s now definitely graduated out of our ‘baby’ program into a smart, fun and active little boy!

Many don’t know we have a full TWO year ‘baby grows’ program that includes a full newborn session, and 4 additional mini children’s sessions we suggest using for 4, 8, 12 and 24 months. This lets us follow your little one as they enter the world, discover their tiny hands/feet, sit up and start to explore the world around them, take their first tentative steps into that world and finally discover and share their unique personalities.

And don’t forget the family…. Your family changes over those two years as much as your little one does. For the Star family that means they just leveled up and welcomed a beautiful baby girl to their family but we were so happy to give Samuel his moment in the spotlight before his promotion to big brother.

And yes, you read that blog title right, this lovely family lives in Jefferson City, MO (my hometown) and though I don’t take a LOT of sessions back home each year I have a few opportunities to return and photograph on my old stomping grounds.

I’m excited to share Peyton’s session with you today! I had so much fun on her session with her momma and adorable little sister who came along for the fun. We had a late fall session and were lucky enough to find a pocket of great colored leaves remaining. Guess what?!?! My beautiful cousin got MARRIED! I had the honor of photographing these two tie the knot last year and now that all their guests got to enjoy their guestbook I get to share/show it off to you here (and you’ll get to see their wedding images soon too).

I’ve said it before (and I’ll likely say it again) but I LOVE our guestbook albums for wedding days. We designed one for our big day and just this past week I got it out to show a client and had fun flipping back through it to see not only our images but all the sweet notes left by our friends and family on those pages too. This is a product that lets you share and enjoy your engagement images for years and to remember not only your sweet relationship but also all those who shared in your wedding day.
