This beautiful little girl shares a birthday with my momma so celebrating with her with a milestone session brought a huge smile to my face. Happy birthday to this sweet happy little gal, I know it will be a fantastic year for you!

This year I got a unique opportunity to photograph these beautiful families at the First Christian Church baby dedication celebration. This church does a wonderful brunch celebration with the families and we took our mobile studio to be sure that each family got an adorable portrait with everyone all dolled up (are they not the cutest).
Most of the time our mobile studio is used for more corporate events with headshots and the like so this was a really fun change of pace (and no offense to all my corporate clients but a smidge cutter too!).
A big thank you goes out to Stephanie at Green Tree Media on this shoot too. As this was just days before my due date we had a contingency plan for her to step in if baby girl decided to arrive early OR in dramatic fashion while we were at the event. Luckily, there was not an extra little one arriving to the party that day so she was there to be my extra hands and it’s always so fun to work with her.
I now get to show off one of my favorite families, the Conn Family! You may remember Liz & Justin’s beautiful wedding day at the Millikin Homestead and their first family portraits here last year.
These poor guys froze their booties off last year with a crazy windy cold day so this year was a treat with mild weather and a beautiful day for their session! We even had some lovely fall colors even in mid-November for our Limited Edition sessions.
I’m a big fan of their card design and hope it filled their friends/family mailboxes with some smiles this year.

Today I get to share the lovely Ms. Lisa and her man A.J. along with their adorable fur baby June. Lisa is a fellow photographer and helps out around here a bit when things get really hectic. On the day of their session she even spent a LONG day with me road tripping up to Chicago to assist with a beautiful wedding and still managed to be fabulous on session!
Lisa not only wanted to capture their family but also who they are and what they do which I love!
There’s SO much cuteness on the blog for you today. This little angel belongs to one of my past wedding couples, Myra & Tyler. I was beyond excited to meet her and be able to create her portraits in celebration of a very big day, her first birthday! She’s absolutely the sweetest and with the biggest grin, complete with adorable nose scrunch. Hope you’ll join me in wishing her a very happy birthday!
