| Miller Annual Fall Family Portraits | Decatur IL |

Oh my goodness! This week is my first week back in the office and I don’t know about you but after a few weeks off it’s taking me a bit to get settled back into the flow of things SO our usual Tuesday blog is coming to you today, on Wednesday, because I forgot what day it was! I hope you all had a wonderful break and are getting settled into the new year as we are… bear with me as I attempt to get back on schedule and let’s pretend it’s Tuesday. Don’t worry our Thursday blog with be back as usual and maybe even a bonus post or two to show off all the beautiful people we were working with this fall. And NOW, it’s time to check out the Miller family:

I’ve had the chance to photograph this beautiful family nearly every year since Grant was a baby with their first session being one of the first in our home studio on the west side of Decatur! This year these troopers hung in there for a cold snap and super windy evening so we could get their annual portraits updated for their Christmas cards.

I’m hoping we treat these kiddos to warm weather for their next session!

If you’re considering a Limited Edition session in 2017 we’ve now opened these 4 dates: April 8 (in time for Easter), May 6, August 5 and November 4 (in time for Christmas). | Tarrant Family Portraits | Decatur IL |

Katlyn was one of our stunning 2016 senior clients (See here session HERE) and this fall it was time to get the whole family in front of the camera. These girls are the sweetest and I had a blast hanging out with Katlyn and her mom for her portraits so I was thrilled to meet the guys in their lives for this go round.

Fall was a little odd this year so surprisingly this late October session is rocking a lot of green foliage but I think it ended up working perfectly with their olive wardrobe! Plus, despite some crazy wind we caught a lovely sunset.

| Tory | Senior Class of 2017 | Decatur IL |

Look who’s up on the blog today! Tory was so much fun to photograph. Not only did we create a few classic looks in the studio (even including her and my favorite color purple!) but we absolutely had to show off her soccer skills on the field and then my favorite part…. we headed out to a friend’s land which was unbelievably beautiful with tree line, field and even little lake!

We had a beautiful sunset which was perfect for images with her truck and she was even brave enough to hop in the water for a few.

| Kaitlin | Central A & M Senior Model | Class of 2017 |

I’m beyond excited to get to share this beautiful senior with you today. Kaitlin is one of our class of 2017 senior models and I’ve had the pleasure to photograph her a number of times throughout her senior year.

She was a part of our parachute dress model session at the Decatur Airport and for her senior session we spent a little time in the studio where we were sure to highlight her dancing talent along with creating a few colorful looks. I had the most fun out around town though. We stopped at a little rustic place I’d been itching to have the right session for and I think it worked perfectly for a casual look for her and we spent the rest of our time (spring and this fall) creating a variety of nature looks at a number of beautiful areas around town.

I also had the chance to photograph Kaitlin with her best friends at her BFF session!

| Ella | IL Pag. Winner |

This year I was honored to provide a prize to the local Cerro Gordo Bement Junior Miss Pageant and the lovely Miss Ella won our prize! We expanded a bit on what she won to get her a full studio and outdoor location session AND include her little sister too. These two gals were so much fun to photograph and as I always do with sibling sessions we got some real sibling love in there holding hands and hugging (you all know how much tween/teen siblings LOVE each other all day every day right?!?!). Well mom and I know they really do so we always get those warm and fuzzy photos on session.

I’m so excited for Ella’s unique wall art selection along with her custom-designed album which is going to be a blast to design. But until those go home with these girls it’s time to share all Ella’s favorites with them and the world. Enjoy!
